Núcleo Diagnósticos

Medicine is making great strides in search of new solutions for treating and curing diseases. In parallel, other sciences follow the same path, collaborating and adding alternatives and improvements to treatments. But not only medicine, physiotherapy or psychology are part of this list. Architecture and engineering have been gaining ground for a long time and showing how much they can make a difference in a patient’s healing process.

Following this concept, the new headquarters of the Núcleo Diagnósticos clinic was recently opened in Piripiri-PI, to be a health center designed and idealized to offer several alternatives for care and diagnoses in one place. The project, conceived by Casa Porã Arquitetura e Design, expresses well-being, elegance and comfort, which deviates from the typology normally used by companies in the more traditional health segment, with vertical gardens, large areas, glass walls, thus allowing visual communication with the urban environment.

The project was conceived following sustainability principles, being the first in the region to implement this concept. Thermal and acoustic comfort, use of natural light, solar energy, water mirrors, for example, are ideas that, combined, bring comfort and economy, in addition to a clear attitude in tune with the environmental issue. According to the architect Áureo Tupinambá Júnior, “more than looking for a spatial language that fits the project within an established hierarchy of clinics, we chose to create a generous ‘lounge’ articulated with a green facade and open waiting areas for a long water mirror with fountains. As elements that soften experiences related to health, these spaces connect the areas of offices and laboratories, forming a more open, social and human path”.

To achieve the objectives of the project, the Cavaletti Talk line was chosen through the Marko Informática reseller. Modules were used that allow different mounting arrangements, ideal for lounge and reception spaces, with the circulation of people, thus creating a pleasant, humanized and contemporary environment.
