Environmental Commitment

Cavaletti always puts itself ahead in the Management Processes, committing itself to the Environment and, mainly, to the Company's relations with its collaborators, partners and community. Environmental responsibility is not just a speech, but a series of attitudes that make a difference. For this reason, it has a modern Effluent Treatment Station that makes it possible to reuse much of the water from the processes. The function of an effluent / sewage treatment system is to gradually remove all organic and inorganic compounds present in solution, which cause pollution of rivers, streams, etc., decreasing or preventing the purification capacity of these aquatic systems.

The Company has a system for capturing solar energy, allowing 40% of the factory's energy to be produced by clean technology. The search for solutions to reduce the cost of the production chain is continuous, in order to minimize the waste generated, always investing in process improvements.

It also constantly invests in awareness and actions aimed at employees, such as, for example, the correct separation of waste generated and the dissemination of this knowledge.

Concerned with the conservation of the Environment, Cavaletti invests in safety systems and treatment of its chemical residues – such as epoxy paint booths, equipped with filters that prevent the release of residues for the Environment, and a modern effluent treatment station. liquids. In addition, all leftovers from the production process are sent for recycling or to their own and approved destination locations.

The company replaced most of the common powder inks with others of international specification W-Eco. These paints that meet the eRoHs standard (European Norm that prohibits dangerous substances such as lead (Pb), mercury (Hg) and others, to be used in product manufacturing processes) and NBR NM 300-3: 2004, in this regard exemption of heavy metals. The replacement of usual materials, with others with less environmental impact and constant recycling, are part of the daily effort of our team.

Cavaletti products have a large part of their componentes from recycled  materials. The wood comes from forest management or proven legal origin and the plastic used has recycled material. At the end of the product’s life cycle, recycle the components (wood, fabric, plastic and metal) or make the correct disposal, thus not causing damage to the Environment.

Social responsability

Throughout its history, Cavaletti has supported several social responsibility actions with the aim of enriching the quality of life of the community in which it operates. Spares no efforts to encourage social projects, citizenship, environmental, educational and corporate actions in Erechim and the region. For example, the sponsorship of the sports teams Ypiranga and Atlântico; motorsport through the Erechim Brasil Rally and other cultural and social projects.
